How to evaluate a nano film sample

Ask for the film width, thickness, roll length or net film weight, core dimensions and the intended wrapping equipment. Compare samples on the same pallet and use the same acceptance criteria. Note the film consumed, film breaks and stability after handling. A thinner sample is useful only if it still meets the protection requirement; avoid choosing solely by roll weight.

Begin with a simple acceptance sheet: goods must remain aligned, vulnerable corners must stay covered and the wrap must survive the normal handling route. Define these observations before testing so every sample faces the same assessment.

Separate roll weight from usable film. A heavier core or different roll length can make two offers difficult to compare. Request the agreed measurement basis and compare material consumed per accepted pallet, alongside the wrapping result.

Include your more difficult routine loads in the trial. Send the supplier photographs of edges, stacking and the finished wrap, together with the equipment model. These details are more useful than requesting a stronger film without describing the problem.

Confirm your specification

Specify width, thickness, roll length or net material weight, core size, colour, packing, quantity and destination. Final dimensions and performance are confirmed by the sample and order.

Product details are based on the GUDE catalogue and supplied photographs; operating guidance is general and must be verified on your equipment.
